Social Pups is a Los Angeles dog adventure club specializing in pack hikes and adventure-style group walks for dogs who love movement, fresh air, and being part of a pack. We serve Westwood, Brentwood, Bel Air, and Beverly Hills, bringing dogs together for real exercise, outdoor exploration, and meaningful social time. Every outing is designed to feel like the best part of your dog’s day.

THE STORY
Meet Eric, Founder of Social Pups
Eric is the founder of Social Pups and the pack leader behind every outing. He grew up with two dogs who were his responsibility in the family, and that early bond turned into a lifelong passion for animal care.
Before starting Social Pups, Eric walked dogs in his neighborhood and volunteered at animal shelters. In 2018, he joined a local dog walking company, where he gained hands-on experience leading structured pack outings and creating safe, fulfilling routines for dogs. After years of working with dogs throughout Los Angeles, he started Social Pups to offer a more meaningful kind of dog walking experience—one built around real outdoor adventure, social connection, and premium care.
Today, Eric personally leads every outing and gets to know each dog’s personality, energy, habits, and place within the pack. His favorite part of the job is watching dogs grow more confident, build friendships, and become genuinely excited for their next adventure.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Meet Beau, the Dog Who Started It All
Beau was the first dog I started walking while I was studying at UCLA, and for the first few years, he was one of the only dogs I walked. We spent a lot of time together, and from the beginning, he had the kind of personality that made everyone love him right away. He’s incredibly sweet, calm, gentle, and friendly with just about every dog and person he meets. He has always been naturally well-mannered and has a quiet confidence that other dogs seem to pick up on.
When Beau and I started inviting other dogs to join us, he became the steady presence at the center of the group. New dogs would watch him, follow his lead, and often settle in more easily just by being around him. His calm energy and confidence have always set the tone for the pack and helped shape the kind of walks Social Pups became known for.
Years later, Beau still makes friends with every new dog he meets and continues to lead by example in his own quiet way. In many ways, Social Pups grew around him, and he’ll always be the dog who started it all.
